Come stroll the lovely grounds of the Marsh House (circa 1836) in La Fayette and experience the Antebellum and Victorian eras as docents provide house history and information about 19th century furnishings, many of which are original to the house.
The Marsh House of La Fayette is a house museum and events venue owned by Walker County, GA. Volunteers under the Board of Trustees, part of the Walker County Historical Society, support, maintain, and develop this lovely antebellum house and grounds through historical tours, community events, fund raising projects, and rental income.

We will be open, with health precautions, for our Heritage Day Festival, Christmas Candlelight Tours (Dec. 10,11,17,18, 6-8:00 pm), and other events. Prepayment guarantees your tour space. The Marsh House is closed in January and February.
Marsh House Heritage Day, 308 N. Main St., La Fayette, GA, celebrated third Saturday of September, 10:00 am-3:00 pm.
